Every profile here covers both sides of hiring: someone open to a full-time role, freelance work, or both. Filters combine, so start broad and narrow down.

Product engineer — TypeScript, Go, and systems that stay fast
I build the parts of a product that have to keep working when usage goes up by 10x. Eight years across observability and fintech infrastructure. I like being close to the people using what I build, and I write things down. Currently splitting my time between a long-running freelance engagement and looking for the right full-time role.
Motion designer — product launches and interface motion
Motion that extends a brand system rather than replacing it. After Effects, Lottie, and a strong opinion about easing.
Design systems lead — I make component libraries people actually use
Twelve years in product design, the last six on design systems at companies between 40 and 900 people. My test for a system is whether it survives me leaving.
Brand designer for climate and energy companies
Identity systems, editorial design and the occasional very large annual report. I work with founders directly.
Rust and embedded — firmware for things that must not brick
Fifteen years of embedded work, most recently in warehouse robotics. I care about update paths and failure modes more than benchmarks.
Platform engineer — Kubernetes, Terraform, and paying down toil
I make the boring parts reliable. Six years of platform work across two scale-ups.
Frontend engineer — React, accessibility, and slow-PC performance
I build interfaces that work on a ten-year-old machine with a screen reader. Previously in healthcare and civic tech.
Growth marketer — SEO and lifecycle for developer tools
I have shipped content programmes that still bring traffic three years later. Mostly developer-tools and B2B SaaS.
Field operations — installations, runbooks, and 6am phone calls
I take a process that works once and make it work fifty times. Warehouse and industrial deployments.
Backend engineer — Node, Postgres, and integrations that do not lose data
Health and finance integrations. Idempotency, reconciliation, and the manual review queue for when matching is ambiguous.
ML engineer — forecasting and applied LLM systems
I ship models that operators trust. Most of my job is the backtesting harness and the explanation, not the architecture.
Customer support lead — building the knowledge base as you go
Front-line support and the systems around it. I believe every answered ticket should reduce the next one.
