Staff Frontend Engineer

Why this role exists

Front-desk staff at a busy clinic touch our scheduler about 300 times a day. It is currently four years of accumulated decisions and it shows. We are rebuilding it and we want someone to lead that.

Scope

• Set the technical direction for the rebuild across three squads
• Own the component library that the rest of the product depends on
• Spend real time in clinics watching people use it

What we are not looking for

Somebody who wants to pick a new framework. The interesting work here is in interaction detail and performance on a ten-year-old front-desk PC.
